Shivela's health office is staffed by Health Technician, Dena Lopez and School Nurse Lisa Van Ryzin, R.N. who also serves students at E. Hale Curran Elementary and Rail Ranch Elementary. The Shivela Health Office staff provides general first aid and emergency care to students and staff. Medication is dispensed to students with a Physician's Authorization. Students that require specialized health care may also receive assistance in the Health Office. Vision, hearing and scoliosis screenings are conducted as well as other health screenings and assessments. We are here to promote good health and healthy lifestyles with our students here at Shivela.
