2016-2017 Annual Health Benefits Open Enrollment is here! 

BenefitBridge Benefits Portal – is a personalized, benefits resource system which allows employees to view currently enrolled benefits, compare plan options, access quick links to carrier websites, open and print benefits-related documents; and utilize a health-related resource library and other interactive tools.

ALL EMPLOYEES will be required to log into our online benefits portal to establish or change their password. With the exception of those employees enrolled in one of the eliminated plans as outlined on page 2 of this announcement, if you do not log into BenefitBridge you will continue with your current plan selections for 2016-17.

On-Line Open Enrollment 

  • Employees can log in to BenefitBridge beginning May 2, 2016, to review your options for July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017. Follow the BenefitBridge instructions included in the links below.
  • The materials in this packet will help you make informed decisions about your health plans. Please review the 2016 plan changes for details on the plan offerings and changes.
  • DEADLINE to complete enrollment is Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 5:00 p.m

NEW – REEP SPOUSAL ADVANTAGE MERP

Effective July 1, 2016, REEP is offering a new voluntary program called REEP Spousal Advantage MERP (Medical Expense Reimbursement Plan). The MERP program provides you and your dependents the opportunity to enroll in alternate health care coverage (eg. Your spouse’s employer health pan) and be reimbursed 100% of your out-of-pocket medical expenses with the alternate health plan. This could potentially save you out-of-pocket medical expenses and eliminate or minimize your payroll deduction for the District REEP medical plans and improve your family’s health insurance coverage. MERP will reimburse you for deductibles, copayments, prescriptions costs, coinsurance, etc. and other eligible expenses you or your dependents may have under the alternate health plan.

Before enrolling in this plan, you must attend a meeting hosted by the Administrators of the program. MERP can not only improve your health care coverage by reimbursing you for out-of-pocket medical expenses, it can also help you increase your monthly paycheck by minimizing, or eliminating, your payroll deduction through the District. Information on the Spousal Advantage MERP meetings are below. Additional information on the MERP plan is attached for your reference.
