Back to School Night Video 

Hello.  My name is Theresa Schneider.  I am excited and proud to be your 8th grade science teacher.  I have been teaching since 1991 (lol You do the math). Most of my experience has been in the wonderful world of Middle School.  I still love it and continue to learn all the time.  I started teaching in LA and Perris, but most of my time has been here at my "home away from home" Thompson.  I hold a BA in Child Development from Cal State Fullerton, a MA in Teaching from National University, and a National Board Certificate in Early Adolescence Science.  I also serve as a district Mentor Leader and Teacher.  I get to teach and learn from some of the best new teachers at the Middle and High School levels.   I believe in proactive communication with parents, hands-on and relevant learning for kids, and the growth of adolescent minds.  Middle school is a unique time in a person's life where change is the norm and playing is still something valued.
