    haiku login
    Username: 9-digit Student ID#
Password: MVUSDHaiku  The password is case sensitive.
You will be required to set up a password on your initial log in.  Be sure to record this password for future reference.  Should you ever forget your password, you can reset it using the "Forgot Password" function if you have a confirmed email address attached to your account.  If the system does not prompt you to change your password you can do so in "My Information" which can be found in the drop down list that will appear when hovering over the icon in the upper right corner of the page.  See below for additional "My Information" information and screenshots.
When you log in each time, you will access your home page, which is pictured below.  Your classes will be listed on the left.  In the middle of the page is the calendar and current events list.  On the right are announcements from your teachers for each class, current graded work, and recent activity.  Note that each class and its associated events and announcements is color-coded:

Select "My Information."  On this page, be sure to add an email address that you will check frequently.  Your teacher will provide announcements and messages through Haiku, and these will be delivered to you through this email address. Be sure to confirm this email address when prompted--you will receive an automated email from the system, sender will be Murrieta Valley Unified School District in order to do this confirmation!  You also have the option of adding a mobile phone number in order to receive text messages of any announcements.  This mobile number is encrypted and no one, including your teacher, can access the number.  This is also where you can change your password if you haven't done so already:

Next go to the "Notifications" page.  Put a check next to your preferred options for receiving updates through Haiku.  You can check some or all of the options, but the most important option to check is at least one box on the first line in order to receive announcements:
