• Haiku/PowerSchool Parent Accounts

    Our Haiku Learning Management System (LMS) now has parent accounts available.  Use of this "Parent Portal" is at each individual teacher's discretion.  If your son or daughter's teacher has activated the Parent Portal for their Haiku class, then once you have logged into Haiku, you will see information that the teacher is providing, such as class events, assignments, homework, and other class resources for your student.  If the teacher utilizes the Haiku Gradebook, you will also be able to review your son or daughter's grades. MVUSD's Aeries grading program is the required gradebook for teachers to report student progress and final grades.

    1. Existing accounts from last year:

    a.   Login with personal email with password from last year.
         (Example: sampleparent.gmail.com - Do NOT use @ symbol)

    b.  If you get an error message that your login and password information is incorrect, select "Forgot your password?". Enter your email address and a password reset will be emailed to you. 

    c.  Once logged in you will see your student’s class or classes. Note: if a teacher has not activated a Haiku class, nothing will be listed.

    For more than one student, select a different child from the "my classes" drop down menu.

    2. New Parent accounts

    a.   A parent account has already been created for you.

    b.   Enter the personal email address that you registered your student with using a " . " instead of @.
          (Example: sampleparent.gmail.com )

    c.   Enter the password: MVUSDPARENT  (all caps).  Once in, go to "My Information" (top right corner of the site) scroll down to change your password.

    d.  If you get an error message that your login and password information is incorrect, select "Forgot your password?". Enter your email address and a password reset will be emailed to you. 
     
    e. Once logged in you will see your student’s class or classes. Note: if a teacher has not activated a Haiku class, nothing will be listed.
