    Get handout, z-score table, and calculator out and watch 2 videos, taking notes on handout.  Then do assignment at bottom of handout on your own new piece of paper.  Draw and label normal curves where appropriate.  Practice using the z-table as well as the normalcdf command on the calculator.

    Warmup was p. 86 Ch 1 AP Stats Practice Test #1-9 (all answers are in back....we did this in our notebook) 

    Reviewed lots of old HW and showed even solutions (those were sent out too via Remind) 

    Then we did p. 50 #68 and assigned 67 and 84 for hw.  Finish 68 first since we didn't in class. 

    Test Ch 1 next class.  Make sure to study all notes and homework problems.  I'd recommend reading all of Ch 1 as well if you haven't already done so.  Make sure you can calculate the sample variance and standard deviation too.

    F 9/13 rally day

    In your notes, find the sample variance and sample standard deviation for the two example sets of numbers to the right.  You can use a calculator.
