2020/21 Board Meetings
Board meetings are now being held in our Boardroom and open to the public. State health and safety guidelines will be enforced at the meeting. To ensure appropriate distancing, there will be limited seating in the Boardroom and face coverings will be required. The meetings will also continue to be livestreamed and may be accessed via a link provided below.
MODIFIED Public Comment procedure during COVID-19 Pandemic:
Written Public Comment: Individuals wishing to address the Board in writing are asked to submit their comments two hours prior to the start of the meeting. The written public comment can be submitted by clicking this text or by sending an email with PUBLIC COMMENT in the subject line to firstname.lastname@example.org. If sending an email in lieu of completing the form, please be sure to include your name and reference the agenda item, if applicable, or subject matter. A staff member will facilitate the reading of public comment submissions. In accordance with Board Bylaw 9323, each individual public comment shall be allowed a three minute reading. The Governing Board shall limit the total time for public input on each item to 20 minutes. No action or discussion will be undertaken on any item not appearing on the posted agenda, except as authorized by law. (Education Code 35145.5)
In Person Public Comment: Individuals who wish to address the Board in person are asked to complete a “Request to Address the Board of Education” card located at the entrance to the Boardroom and submit their request to the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent & Board. Speakers shall be first recognized by the presiding officer at the designated time on the agenda. In accordance with Board Bylaw 9323, individual speakers shall be allowed three minutes to address the Board on each agenda or non-agenda item. No action or discussion shall be undertaken on any item not appearing on the posted agenda, except as authorized by law. (Education Code 35145.5)
