• Welcome to the TK–5 returning to school sites information page developed to provide general details to our elementary families. Each elementary school will be sending site specific information via Aeries Communication. 

    Murrieta Valley USD is committed to providing families with a choice as we prepare for a return to in-person learning in a pandemic environment. Hence, we are offering two learning models: Hybrid In-Person and Virtual for the remainder of the 20-21 School Year.  

    • Elementary schools Reopening on on-hold due to County reverting in the Purple Tier. Please see the 10/21 District communication sent to all parents via email and text.
    • Learning model registration for elementary students was completed in October. All families selected their learning model choice: hybrid or virtual.
    • Families who selected virtual learning for their student(s) made that commitment for the remainder of the 20-21 school year.
    • Families who selected hybrid, also be made that commitment for the remainder of the 20-21 school year.

    Hybrid In-Person Learning Model 

    • Half of the students will be in-person on campus for instruction in the AM or PM group, Tuesday-Friday
    • Mondays will be virtual instruction for all students
    • Students will remain in the same classroom with the same students
    • Independent work assigned to all students when they are not in-person on campus 
    • Teacher assignments may change based on staffing and family registration for virtual or hybrid models
    • Student(s) will be assigned AM or PM session - Families with more than one student in TK-5 will be placed in the same session
    • SEED before/after school childcare may be modified based on how many families choose hybrid, and plans will be communicated when available
