2. Can teachers have carpet time and small group instruction?
Posted by:Traditional classroom practices will need to be adjusted to align with health and safety procedures as well as to ensure social distancing.

3. Can a student attend a full day of school?
Posted by:No. Social distancing requirements and limited classroom space prohibit more than 16 students per class.

4. Will virtual learning be available at my students current school site?
Posted by:Students who remain in the virtual learning model may be assigned to another teacher at their site or from another school, but they will remain a student at their current school.

5. Will technology devices need to be returned?
Posted by:No, students will need them to complete independent work when they are not in the in-person session.

6. What will intervention and special education related services/RSP look like?
Posted by:As we transition into the hybrid model, support services of this kind will continue to take place virtually when the student is not in the in-person session. Exceptions to some programs may apply, allowing in-person related services. Once we have the hybrid model in place, we will consider other options for in-person service delivery.

7. Can parents be on campus and assist in the classroom?
Posted by:During the hybrid model, parents cannot come onto campus, other than the school office.

8. Will SDC classes be able to meet all day or will they be in a hybrid model too?
Posted by:SDC (including SDC preschool) will follow the same ½ day schedule as general education classes. Exceptions per Individualized Education Program (IEP) may apply.

9. What will independent work look like?
Posted by:Independent work time will not be supported by the teacher as he/she will be teaching the other in-person session at that time. Students will be completing work they started during their in-person session. They will also be assigned independent activities such as online programs and reading.

10.What are the types of learning activities that will occur during in-person instruction?
Posted by:Teachers will focus on providing new instruction and activities that require guidance and immediate feedback. Priority concepts/skills and peer interactions will also be a focus during in-person learning.
