Board Policies and Bylaws
The Murrieta Valley Unified School District Board of Education is responsible for implementing applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations. The Board adopts policies and procedures to carry out these requirements and to guide the operation of District schools.
Board policies and administrative regulations are reviewed and updated regularly to ensure compliance with current laws. When legal changes occur or specific needs arise, the Superintendent or designee presents new or revised policies, along with corresponding administrative regulations, to the Board for consideration and adoption.
District Board policies and administrative regulations are based on model policies developed by the California School Boards Association (CSBA), a collaborative organization representing more than 1,000 school districts and county offices of education across the state. The comprehensive index and table of contents follow a standardized CSBA index system that is widely used by school districts throughout California.
