Communications

Parent Square is our primary communication platform, delivering messages via email, text, phone call, and app notification. Parents, staff, and students in grades 6–12 are automatically set up with an account using the preferred contact information on file in our Aeries student information system and Galaxy staff database. All routine, urgent, and emergency alerts are sent through ParentSquare.

In Parent Square, families can select their preferred language, notification settings and direct message school staff. 

District and School website have up-to-date information and are published at the district and individual school level.  Each school has a stipend webmaster assignment and focus updating school news and event calendars.

Follow MVUSD's official accounts on FaceBook and Instagram for news, highlights, and announcements. Schools with social media accounts will have a link to them on their websites main page. 

Approved flyers from schools and community partners are distributed digitally via Peachjar to all parent and student email accounts.

Non-profit and community organizations must meet the Peachjar criteria to upload and post a digital flyer.

Teachers, school principals, and the Superintendent distribute regular newsletters to keep families and staff informed about what's happening in classrooms, on campuses, and across the district.

Campus marquees highlight important events, celebrations, and timely reminders for the local community. The largest marquee in the district is placed at the Vista Murrieta campus with high visibility on Clinton Keith Rd.
