AVID
AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a nationally recognized college and career readiness program that begins in middle school and supports students through high school.
AVID helps students develop strong academic, organizational, and leadership skills while providing the guidance and coursework needed for college and career success. Districtwide 93% of seniors are accepted to four-year colleges, far exceeding the national average of 36%.
Through daily mentoring and structured support, AVID helps students see college and career pathways as attainable. Students are part of a supportive community of peers and educators who share a commitment to academic achievement. Our goal is for AVID students to graduate high school prepared, with options, confidence, and a clear plan for their future.
