Career Readiness for All - Helping students chart their own path into the future!
"College for all" has been the call of educators and parents for decades. However, because the world of professions, careers and demands have changed and so has the expectation that success requires a college degree. Our purpose in preparing students for life after TK-12 has evolved and expanded.
Today, our mantra in the district is “To prepare each student for a post-high school credential.” This may include an industry certificate from an apprenticeship program or trade school, or a college degree from a 4-year or a 2-year. Furthermore, we recognize that all branches of the military may offer great opportunities as well as career pathways within the branches of the military that can further an individual's education while in the armed services. Each option carries equal value. We are committed to showing students options to see which path suits their interests, skills, abilities and future needs!
The document below provides an overview of our career readiness efforts.
Career Technical Education
Career Technical Education (CTE) is a critical piece to career readiness for all.
CTE is applied academics with hands-on learning to prepare students for their career of choice and multiple options after high school including apprenticeships, college, military, trade schools, and the workforce. Please view our catalogue below.
