2026 LCAP Survey is Open

Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) Survey Information

To preserve the integrity of the survey process, all feedback is anonymous. Responses are collected as data, aggregated at the district-wide level, and presented in summary form. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

At the end of the survey, there is an optional open-ended comment section. If you would like a follow-up response, you may choose to provide your contact information for a call or email reply.

Feedback from parents, students, and staff is essential to developing an effective Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) that fully addresses our schools’ strengths and areas needing attention. As an educational partner in our school community, we sincerely appreciate your input.

About the LCAP

The Annual Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) is a guiding document that outlines the District’s goals, actions, and priorities for the upcoming school year. These goals support all students, with targeted services aligned to state and local priorities, including additional supports for specific student groups.

Each year, the finalized LCAP must be posted as one comprehensive document assembled in the following order:

  • Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) Budget Overview for Parents

  • Plan Summary

  • Engaging Educational Partners

  • Goals and Actions

  • Increased or Improved Services for Foster Youth, English Learners, and Low-Income Students

  • Action Tables

  • Instructions

Murrieta Valley Unified School District partners with Panorama Education to gather feedback from parents, staff, and students. Under California’s school funding law, all school districts are required to develop and adopt an LCAP annually, which includes meaningful input from educational partners.
