In the region of Veracruz, dancers wear a white blouse, white skirt and a black apron with flowers. They wear a hairpiece that has white and red ribbons and flowers. They carry a fan, and wear a cameo and shawl and jewels as well as earrings.Baja is known for its fast paced fancy footwork. This region wears matching shirts and agrees to wear black of blue pants, matching hats. Some groups do matching jeans skirts. Essential to the region are BOOTS.Jalisco is known for this kind ribboned dress. The dress can be of any color, but this one here is white with varying ribbon in a star shaped pattern. Girls from this region often wear their hair in two braids with big bows above the mid-hair line.
