Skeletal Systems Picture Portfolio
You will be producing a Skeletal Systems Portfolio with labeled pictures. Use your book and the internet. Website will have links.
· All drawings must be done in pencil (no colors), using shading.
· Label the bone and the view (anterior/posterior/lateral etc.) We will list exact parts each day in class that need to be labeled.
· Labels should be handwritten and must be done using a ruler. See examples.
The following will be included:
1. Pectoral
Girdle
Anterior (1), posterior (2) and lateral (3) views of scapula – label all parts
Clavicle (4)
4 Pictures / one page
2. Humerus
Both anterior (1) and posterior (2) views – label all parts – 2 pictures / 1 page
3. Ulna and Radius – can be 1 page
All structures labeled
4. Pelvic Girdle – entire pelvis (1) – label parts
coxa – medial (2) & lateral (3) views
3 pictures one page

Femur
Both anterior (1) and posterior (2) views – label all structures – 2 pictures / 1 page
6. Tibia and Fibula – can be 1 page
all structures labeled
7-8 Vertebral Column – 2 pages
First Page: Draw entire vertebral column, lateral (1) and posterior (2) views.
2 pictures / 1 page (include labels for Atlas (C1) and Axis (C2)) and curvatures)
Second page: Draw the 3 types of vertebrae and label all structures on each (Cervical / Thoracic / Lumbar). 3 pictures / 1 page
