Hi everyone! I have served as Activities Director of Thompson Middle School for 9 years. Prior to that, I taught Math and was Math Department Chair. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and I have a Mathematics Authorization from UCR. I ran a successful non-profit organization for 5 years and owned a General Contracting Company for 10 years. Therefore, I have a passion to integrate mathematics and critical thinking in all we do. When I am not at school, I am at home or traveling with my wife who is a teacher as well. I have four daughters, 3 son-in-laws and a granddaughter. My daughters are making a difference in education as well. During Distance Learning and the Summer, I remodeled our home in Tennessee and our Master Bathroom in Murrieta. I recognize that this is an unprecendented time for us all and we are now learning in a different way in a different place. Because leadership requires a growth mindset, I am reminded of an anonymous quote I read:
Obstacles are put in your way to see if what you want is really worth fighting for. I look forward to witnessing all you can become this year!
