For those of you who would like to know a little bit about Mrs. Alvarado, this is the page for you. I grew up in Murrieta; attended E. Hale Curran Elementary, Shivela Middle School, and graduated from Murrieta Valley High School in 1996. After high school, I moved to San Diego and earned a BA in Communication from SDSU. Soon thereafter, I furthered my education earning a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, Single Subject Credential in English and MA in Education with an emphasis in Cross-Cultural Teaching.  After teaching grades K-8, I joined CSU's Expository Reading and Writing Curriculum team as a Professional Learning Leader, providing professional development workshops for educators throughout Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.  Teaching has been a rewarding experience where I am able to facilitate student learning while encouraging participants to demonstrate their content knowledge, critical thinking and communication skills, creativity, and unique brilliance.
