A personal message to my VMHS students from the heart
This journey we are about to undertake will be a challenge.
The challenge is to fully commit to the learning process.
I have been an educator for 20 years.  My standard is that
you learn and truly retain the information taught. Not for
one day but for a lifetime.  My calling is to present the material
in an organized passionate manner so you understand what is
taught. I assure you I will do my part. Your part is to put in effort
like never before

I have seen numerous students "learn and forget".
You need to ask yourself who is responsible for this
occurrence. I will emphatically state that is solely up
to you. If you do forget, ask yourself these questions.
Did I review every sample problem from Mr. Nguyen's notes?
Did I read the conceptual questions I created? Did I review
nightly the previous and current material? I will demand that
you do all the above learning techniques. You can achieve
greatness! It takes individual determination, teamwork and
quality constant exposure.  There is no bad math student.
Your perception is your reality. You and we determine our
success. Let's enjoy learning and be truly appreciative of the
education afforded us in the amazing country, state and school
district. May the force be with you!

Sincerely,

Mr. Hien Nguyen
