It is with so much joy and enthusiasm that I welcome your child  to third grade at Lisa J. Mails. I have been anticipating their arrival and patiently waiting to get to know them. Before I can get to know each child, here is a little about me.

I am a high-energy and fun-loving teacher. With 10 years of teaching under my belt, I am happy to share songs, dances, critical thinking skills and my overall love of learning with your child. We will work together in HARMONY to understand one another and create the most loving and caring learning environment we possibly can.

I have three children of my own and, as a mom, I know I can model for your child how to learn in a kind, EMPATHETIC classroom, where listening to one another is our top priority. I promise to listen to your child and all that they bring to our classroom.

I love to learn, grow, and make mistakes. This may sound silly, but mistakes are great. I learn so much when I ACHIEVE or fail ( which is perfectly okay). I will guide your child to make important mistakes so they can achieve all the great things they are capable of!

Our classroom will be filled with learning opportunities. WE will use these as moments to grow like a beautiful and strong Monarch butterfly. Through REFLECTION we can realize who we are in our actions and that’s incredible. Each of the mistakes and achievements we make will help us to reflect on the person we truly are.

Above all, I cannot wait to see how much your child will TRANSFORM this year with me. Their brain will change , their body will grow, but above everything their  H.E.A.R.T. will become something to be proud of.
