Measure M, a local school bond measure

The District has continued to undertake facility needs assessments and has created a facilities master plan in order to ensure that its current and projected students have quality learning environments, and has identified $359 million in important facilities needs.  The State does not provide regular funding to address such needs.  As such, the District must identify a local funding source.  Placing a general obligation bond measure before District voters, would provide funding to address these important needs. General obligation bond measures may only be submitted to voters on Statewide election dates, including the November 3, 2026, ballot.

In order to appear on the November 2026 ballot, a Resolution calling a bond election was filed with the Riverside County election official.

The bond measure asks voters to approve up to $359 million in bonds.  Detailed information and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) are available on our Measure M webpage.
