Murrieta Field of Honor
Description
Murrieta Rotary’s awe-inspiring, annual patriotic event, the Field of Honor, is a week to honor our military heroes and first responders and to educate visitors to the Field. More than 2,000 full-sized American flags will be set up at Murrieta Town Square for the week-long event of activities. All district 5th graders visit the field and learn about American history, our country’s flags, its highest military honor, those who died in service to their country including local heroes. The JROTC cadets from each of the district's high schools will be there to guide and assist the fifth graders and other visitors to the fields. The week of events includes:

- Artists will be painting patriotic images in chalk
- The city’s Veterans Day parade on Saturday
- 5th graders from local schools plan to make a field trip to the field
- A middle schools choral concert highlights the candlelight concert
