Learn@Home will be offering multiple home-based learning options including a TK-5 virtual/blended (teacher-led) option for the 21-22 school year. Please see below for specific program options for Grades 6-8. To learn more, please complete the interest form or directly book an appointment to review the options and identify which is best suited for your child.
LEARN@HOME TK-8 PROGRAM (Parent Led Option)
This program furthers our commitment to student learning, parent partnerships and strengthening each student's academic/social confidence.
Components of this new home based learning program include:
✘ Parent driven instruction
✘ Credentialed teacher support
✘ A personalized approach to student learning
✘ Flexible scheduling and pacing
✘ Content standard-based lessons
✘ Same rigorous curriculum used and provided by MVUSD
✘ Access to TK-8 arts, activities, and middle school athletics
✘ Progress Reports and student benchmarking
Requires daily, synchronous teacher instruction for grades TK-3. Weekly synchronous teacher instruction requires for grade 4-8.
Family Requirements for Learn@Home enrollment:
- Direct instruction by the parent
- Parent/Student/MVUSD Instructor partnership
- MVUSD curriculum must be used as the core curriculum
- Adherence to Master Agreement
