Murrieta Dollars for Scholars encourages students to pursue their education beyond high school by making available college scholarships to graduating seniors in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District.  Murrieta Dollars for Scholars is dedicated to expanding access to higher education and we greatly appreciate the community's support and involvement in this worthy effort. 

 

Murrieta Dollars for Scholars is proud to be one of 1,100 chapter affiliates of Scholarship America, a nationally recognized non-profit organization dedicated to mobilizing support for students getting into and graduating from college.

 

Quality education is the key to competing in an increasingly complex world. Rising costs are closing doors to higher education. Through Murrieta Dollars for Scholars, our local community has an opportunity to make a strong, collective statement about the importance of education beyond high school.

 

Over the last 24 years, we have given $2.3 million in scholarships to over 4,900 graduates of Murrieta Valley Unified School District and we are excited to kickoff the next season of  helping local seniors make their dreams of higher education a reality. 

 

Seniors, if you have a minimum cumulative overall grade point average of 3.25 at the end of the first semester, and you plan to attend a two-year community college, four-year university, technical, trade, or a vocational school following graduation.

 

Scholarships are based on academic achievement, accomplishments, involvement and/or merit. and all applicants are not guaranteed a scholarship. For more information, please see the following school site staff:
