Repaso:
Present Progressive		The present progressive expresses an action that is happening right now.

To form the present progressive use:
 ESTAR + present participle

To form the present participle drop the last two letters of the verb and add:
   -ando
   -iendo

 Estoy hablando.

Remember irregulares
      leyendo
      durmiendo

You only use it for an action that is actually going on at the time of the sentence.

When do you use the PAST progressive?Imperfect form of ESTAR + present participle

Ellos estaban leyendo el periódico.
Ella estaba buscando su perro.
