Weather Monitoring & Alert Systems
Murrieta Valley Unified School District (MVUSD) is committed to safeguarding the health and well-being of our students, families, and staff. To support this commitment, the district has installed Perry Weather Monitoring System at four school sites to actively monitor local conditions.
MVUSD also relies on trusted resources, including the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Heat Risk Forecast, EPA's AirNow, Perry Weather, and guidance from local health authorities to help guide decisions during periods of extreme heat, poor air quality, and other inclement weather events.
Each school site and community member has access to weather data from the monitoring station geographically closest to them, ensuring that information is relevant to local conditions.
