My name is Laura Hoffmann and I am a first grade teacher at Rail Ranch Elementary School.  I truly LOVE teaching first grade - it is an incredible age, and the academic growth the students achieve is so very rewarding to see! First grade is packed with important and exciting transitions as children begin to develop more academic skills such as foundational math practices, and building their reading abilities - both are essential parts of a first grader's learning process, and academic success down the road.  I strive to create a classroom atmosphere of encouragement and wonder - and to develop a love of learning in each of my students!
