I am excited to be your 5th grade teacher this year! My goal is to make this the best school year yet! The 2021-2022 school year will be my seventeenth year teaching 5th grade in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District (7th year at Alta.)

I grew up in Fremont located in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area. When I was sixteen-years-old, my family relocated to San Diego. After high school, I attended college there and was hired in Murrieta shortly after.

I have two beautiful children: a ten-year-old daughter and a six-year-old son. 

My hobbies include swimming, reading, crafting, and watching sports. I also enjoy spending quality with my family and relaxing.

Some fun facts about me...you will see me drinking coffee in the morning and water throughout the day. I also like sparkling water too. You may notice that I pride myself on being organized. Something unique about me is that I write and eat with my left hand, but I cut and play sports right-handed.
