I was born and raised in San Diego. I received my teaching credential from San Diego State University and my Master's Degree and CLAD from Azusa Pacific University.

 

When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family! I have 1 feral cat, 3 grown sons and an amazing husband. We enjoy going to the movies, watching the Denver Broncos and Nascar, bird watching, swimming, reading, walking and praising God while we do all things.

 

My favorite word is JOY and I talk a lot about it in class. I love this word because it is not based on circumstances which can change so quickly. It is based on a sense of peace and contentment in your life that comes from the inside, in spite of your circumstances.
