  • COVID-19 Safety Plan

On Wednesday, February 17, 2021 Riverside University Health Systems, Public Health (RUHS) approved Murrieta Valley USD’s COVID-19 Safety Plan. The safety plan is comprised of two documents, a COVID-19 Checklist, and a COVID-19 Prevention Plan. Per state mandates, these documents must be accessible for families to review prior to returning students to campus.

The COVID-19 Checklist is the approved document which outlines preventative measures, state mandates and required illness protocols. This document is intended for students and their families.

In this dynamic environment, guidance may change. Regardless, it is important for families to have an understanding of what has been approved by the county and state.

  • IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS
This information is especially important for new and/or transfer students. Although we are in the midst of an unexpected public health crisis, immunization requirements are still in place. The Public Health Department has been informing pediatricians that maintaining vaccination schedules remains a priority. Your healthcare provider should have well-child visits available to ensure immunizations are up-to-date. Immunization information from the State Public Health Department can be viewed at www.shotsforschool.org

If you need resources for obtaining immunizations, please contact your School Nurse. We can accept copies via e-mail, fax, or in-person (kindly wear a mask if visiting the school office). Please make sure your child’s name is visible on the record copy. Call the health office for specific contact information. We are here to help!
