My name is Kathi Reece. This is my 19th year of teaching elementary school in Murrieta. I have taught Kindergarten thru 5th grade. This is my sixth year of teaching 4th grade and fifth year teaching at Antelope Hills Elementary. I love being an Explorer! I love teaching! 

My goal as a teacher is to help my students reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally. I look forward to helping my students thrive and grow, as they develop the joy of being a life-long learner.

My husband and I just celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary. Together we have 3 daughters and 1 son-in-law, 1 granddaughter and 1 grandson.  All three of my daughters attended Murrieta schools. We have lived in the valley for 33 years. I was born and raised in Southern California. My husband and I are enjoying our new season of being empty nesters along with our 2 cats and 2 little dogs.  When I am not teaching, I love spending time reading books of any genre, spending time with family, and I love hiking and the outdoors.

As we embark on this new school year, I am filled with excitement and anticipation. I can't wait to get to know each of your unique and wonderful children, and I am committed to providing them with a year filled with growth, laughter, and a love for learning that will last a lifetime.
