Mr. Burns
My name is Francis Burns and I will be teaching your student math this year. This is my 15th year at Thompson Middle School and my 24th year teaching overall. I have taught students math and science at every middle school grade level. I have also served as Math Department Coordinator, been a Club Live advisor, and coached middle school softball and volleyball. I am also the proud parent of a wonderful 27 year old daughter who promoted from TMS, graduated from MVHS, graduated from Sacramento State University and earned a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Pacific.
This year, it is my vision and expectation that the students and I treat each other respectfully because we are all human beings and deserve nothing less. It is also my vision and expectation that we behave appropriately to create an environment that allows every student to learn to the best of their abilities
