Degrees and Certifications:
Masters in Special Education
I have been in the special education field for 19 years. During this time, I have taught grades 3rd-12th at all levels and abilities. I started my career at Vista Murrieta High School in 2005 but left a few years later to start a family. In 2007 I earned my master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis on severe disabilities.
While I was out of the traditional brick-and-mortar setting, I worked for two Independent Study Charter Schools as an RSP/ SDC teacher and as a program specialist.
In 2019, I returned to MVUSD as a teacher at Murrieta Summit (Adult Transition Program). I love being a part of the MVUSD family and being in a place that advocates for ALL students. I am excited about being a part of the Thompson Middle School Team this year supporting teachers and students!
