I am so happy to be your child's sixth or seventh grade Language Arts teacher. This is a very exciting time for your child. I believe the successful education of your child requires an equal partnership in which you, your child, and myself must be active participants. We all need to take our responsibility seriously and together your child will learn and achieve great things.
I have been teaching for 28 years. I am married with two sons. I have a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and a CLAD (Cross-cultural Language and Academic Development) certificate from Ca State Northridge and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University. When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling, camping, reading, swimming, going to the movies, and watching SF Giants baseball.
I truly love to teach and I strongly believe together we can make this a wonderful year for your child.
