I am thrilled to be your child’s sixth or seventh-grade Language Arts teacher! This is an exciting time in their life, and I’m eager to be part of their learning journey. I believe that a child’s educational success is built on a strong partnership between the student, their family, and the teacher. By working together and embracing our shared responsibilities, we can help your child learn, grow, and achieve amazing things.
With 28 years of teaching experience, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and a CLAD (Cross-cultural Language and Academic Development) certificate from California State University, Northridge, as well as a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy traveling, camping, reading, swimming, watching movies, and cheering for the SF Giants.
Teaching is my passion, and I’m committed to making this a wonderful and enriching year for your child. I look forward to all the learning, discovery, and growth ahead!
