David Bussen
My name is David Bussen and the 2024/2025 school year is my 9th year teaching social studies and my 6th year teaching at Thompson Middle School.
I grew up and attended school in Temecula, moving to San Diego to complete my degree in Social Sciences at San Diego State University. I followed that up with a Single Subject Teaching Credential and Masters degree from the University of Redlands. From there, I spent three years teaching at JL Stanford in Palo Alto, CA. I am happy to be back teaching in my hometown once again. In my spare time time I enjoy hiking, running, playing and watching soccer, and exploring Southern California with my wife and my dog.
