Sharing...Every student will get to share when they are Star of the Day. Children can share something special from home. Examples include: something made at home, a photo, a book, a toy, etc... Each child will get up in front of the class, tell their name, age and what they brought to share. As the year progresses, they will add their last name, birthday, phone number and address when they share. Sharing helps students become comfortable in front of others, as well as learning their own personal information.
Star of the Day...Your child will get many opportunities to be star of the day during kindergarten. Star of the day students are chosen alphabetically throughout the year. When your child is star of the day, they get to be the line leader, calendar helper, and the special teacher helper for the day!
