Welcome to First Grade!

My name is Kayla Paterson. I have taught 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade for 12 years. This will be the start of my 7th year at Antelope Hills Elementary. 1st grade is my favorite grade to teach for a number of reasons. I love seeing how much growth happens during this year. My goal is always to instill a love of reading in my students and help them enjoy attending school. 

My husband and I both attended school in Murrieta and are excited to both be back in the community as teachers. We love to travel during any downtime, go to sporting events, and spend time with our pup.

I am SO excited to spend the year with you. We are going to have so much fun!
