Welcome to Mrs. Meehan's Classroom!

I am pleased to welcome you and your child to my 3rd grade class. I am committed to providing a positive, nurturing, warm and safe classroom environment in which your child is respected as a unique individual. I would like to thank you for entrusting your child with me for the 2024-2025 school year. This year promises to be a challenging and rewarding one.

This year marks my 27th year of teaching. I have experience teaching in first, second, third, a two-three combo class, and fourth grades.  Prior to teaching in Murrieta, I worked in a neighboring school district.

I feel it is vital that teachers and parents work together in order for our children to receive the best education. This year promises to be a productive and rewarding year at Tovashal Elementary. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. I welcome any information you feel may help me better understand your child. I know with your help and support we can make this a successful and exciting school year! I look forward to spending this year with you, your child, and your families.

When not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, sons, extended family, and friends. I love visiting new places, reading, crocheting, taking pictures, and watching my son play volleyball!
