Hi! My name is Ms. Pablo and I'm entering my 17th year teaching at Monte Vista. 

I am happy to be part of the diverse Monte Staff and community. The partnership here brings the best school experience for students and families. I am not just a teacher, but a learner as well.

I'm Filipino American and lived in California all my life.  I love music, hiking, eating at local restaurants, learning about other cultures, comedy shows, and fitness.  I partake in obstacle course runs and, recently completed a Spartan Race with several MVES staff members  Aroo!!!  Some favorites are:

- Snack:  Protein donuts or anything with less to no artificial sugar

- Drink:  Zoa, Celsius, and espresso

- Color:  Red

- Store:  Costco, Amazon, Target, and Trader Joe's

- Food:  anything local or simply In-n-Out 

 

In class, the day is structured.  Students are encouraged to take risks in their learning and to simply put independent effort into their work. Students are assured that seeing mistakes in their work is welcomed because it is part of learning & part of a growth mindset.  My goal is to help students develop the academic and social skills that are essential to everyday living, college readiness, and/or post-secondary careers. I strive to have students feel comfortable, safe, and engaged in learning. Each child will be pushed to persevere, think outside of the box, become problem solvers, and treat peers like family.
