We are happy to have you here and are grateful for your service.

Monte Vista Elementary values all of our amazing military connected children and families.  As a school, we understand that military youth encounter unique circumstances and situations.  We want every military family to know that we are here to support them.  This page is designed to provide families with links to local and national resources.

Here are some ways that Monte Vista supports our military students:

• December – Holiday event, sponsored by PTA. In past years we have had a variety of events, such as Drop and Shop, gift wrapping evenings, and family photography
• April – Month of the Military Child – Celebrating our military connected students through various “Purple-Up” school-wide events and programs.
• April – Military Read Night
