I am so excited about beginning my fourth year teaching at E. Hale Curran!   I have taught third, fourth and fifth grades as well as English as a Second Language.  I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in Elementary Education and my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governor's University. 

My husband Randy and I have raised our family here in Murrieta for the last thirty years.  We love it here! Our  six children all graduated from Murrieta Valley High School. We have thirteen grandchildren all under the age of 8.   Besides visiting my children and grandchildren as often as I can, I love to hike, read books and travel!  I also love to have a beach day when I can find the time.

I am passionate about teaching and love my students. I try to create a hands-on, engaging learning environment and do my best to foster a  growth mindset.  In my class we don't say, "I can't do it."  We say, "I can't do it YET." 

I am so excited to teach third grade for the 2024-25 school year!  I can't wait to meet my new students and their families!
