Degrees and Certifications:
Cole Canyon’s third-grade team would like to let you know that we miss you, and we hope that you are all doing well. Please know that we are diligently working to meet your child’s academic needs. As you know, the district has taken some time to work on a plan for our Murrieta Valley Unified School District students. We are now entering Phase One of the plan. They will be sending you a link that will provide optional, non-graded learning activities for students by grade level. I will be emailing you daily to make sure that you are supported during this time of transition. I understand that these are unprecedented times, and I hope to make this transition as smooth as possible. I have set aside the following times for responding to emails: 10 AM – 2 PM. If you have any questions, feel free to send an email, and I will do my best to answer any questions that may arise. I would love to hear a quick message from your child on how he/she is doing. Thank you for your flexibility and cooperation, as we navigate through this new adventure of distance learning. In closing, remember to give yourselves time to enjoy one another and allow yourselves time to make memories. Our families’ health and safety continue to be our utmost priority.
I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.
I encourage students to work on iReady for both language arts and math. I am able to monitor the progress of students that way and be able to assign assignments in the future.
Reading 20 minutes per day as well as practicing Math facts is always encouraged. Students are able to take Reading Counts quizzes as well.
