Murrieta High Schools' Scholarship Foundation

The Murrieta High Schools' Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships for outstanding college-bound Murrieta seniors.  Community members and local businesses are encouraged to make a tax-deductible donation and help a deserving graduate realize their dream of a college education.  Donations of any amount are accepted. Contributors of $250 or more may personally present their scholarship at the Scholarship Awards ceremony.  Donations under $250 will be combined and awarded as Foundation Scholarships.

Scholarships are based on academic achievement, accomplishments, involvement and/or merit. All senior students with a minimum cumulative overall grade point average of 3.5 at the end of the first semester who are planning to attend a two-year community college, four-year university, technical, trade, or a vocational school following graduation are eligible to apply. Applicants are not guaranteed a scholarship. Seniors must submit an application to the Foundation to receive a scholalrship from the Foundation.

All scholarships must be claimed by June 1, 2014.  Scholarships unclaimed by June 1, 2014 will be returned to the foundation for distribution to other scholarship recipients.
