Morgan Quick (Alpha: A-L)
Hello everyone! My name is Morgan Quick and I serve as Academic Counselor for students with last names A-L. I am part time this year, in the office alternating Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Working within Alternative Education has always been my passion. I understand students arrive at MCA for a wide variety of reasons and it is my goal to create an individualized academic plan for each of my students. This plan will focus on both social/emotional wellbeing and college/career preparedness. It is my pleasure to work with you and look forward to welcoming you to the MCA family.
Mrs. Quick has been with Murrieta Canyon Academy since July 2016. She received her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies - Economics with an emphasis in Chinese Studies from the University of California, San Diego, and her Master of Arts in Counseling with LPCC eligibility from the University of San Diego. She holds a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Counseling and National Certified Counselor (NCC) certification from the NBCC. Morgan is also a published researcher in the field of school counseling, specific to Action Research and Students within Alternative Education. She has presented her research both nationally and internationally.

Debra Kimble (Alpha: A-L)
Debra Kimble has worked for the Murrieta Valley Unified School District since 2016, originally as a substitute teacher, and has been a school counselor in the district and at MCA since 2022. She completed her Associate of Arts degree at Cypress Community College and then transferred to California State University, Fullerton, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services with a concentration in counseling. After working for a handful of years as an Outreach Counselor at the Youth Service Center of Riverside, she quit working outside her home for several years, raising her young children and volunteering at their schools and within the community. In 2021 she graduated with a Master’s Degree in Educational Counseling from Azusa Pacific University and holds a PPS credential.
Mrs. Kimble currently holds a 50% counseling position with Mrs. Quick, assisting students with last names beginning with A – L on Mondays, Tuesdays and alternating Wednesdays with their academic and personal counseling needs. She enjoys helping students S.O.A.R. at Murrieta Canyon Academy.

Gabriela Arizola (Alpha: M-Z)
Gabriela Arizola has been a school counselor with the Murrieta Valley Unified School District since 2018. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from California University San Marcos and a Master of Science degree in School Counseling from The Johns Hopkins University. Mrs. Arizola served two years volunteering with the Peace Corps in Nicaragua, solidifying her passion to help others. She then began her school counseling career at a high school in Baltimore, Maryland where she was the English Language Learner and College counselor before returning home to California.
At Murrieta Canyon Academy Mrs. Arizola works with students last names M-Z to support them both academically and emotionally. She meets students where they are and builds upon their skills to achieve their goals. Mrs. Arizola is committed to helping students feel successful and life-ready for their high school journey and beyond. Ella habla español.
