This online platform, managed by California College Guidance Initiative (CCGI), is a resource provided by the school district to help support our students with navigating post-high school options (career & college), UC/Cal State/ community college applications, and completing their financial aid application.
For students that need to register their account:
Go to www.californiacolleges.edu
Click "Register your Account" at the top right of the page
In the registration box, choose the following:
I am a Student
Murrieta Valley Unified
Murrieta Canyon Academy
Click "Next" and fill in student information.
Click "Next" and fill in student email and choose a password (use your student email address only - ID#@mvusd.org)
For students that have already registered their CCGI account:
Log-in using student email and password. Please see your counselor if your password needs to be reset.
If your account was registered with your old student email (ID#@student.murrieta.k12.ca.us), please update to your new student email (ID#@mvusd.org):
Click the person symbol at the top right
Click "My Account"
Click "Edit" on the middle left side of the screen.
Erase primary email and fill in with new email. You do not need to list a secondary email.

STUDENTS can explore dozens of career options that lead to in-demand career pathways. The CTE Career Guide can be a great conversation starter with counselors and parents as your education plan is being developed. Narrowing down interests, based on strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles is an important step prior to exploring college or workplace opportunities.
PARENTS can learn more about the many benefits that CTE offers, including earning certifications, attaining dual credits, and experiencing work-based learning. They can also explore viable occupations using the employment data provided within each career path.
CTE prepares students for a wide range of high-wage, high skill and in-demand careers. Students who study CTE in high school have many options upon graduation.
