1. Murrieta Dollars for Scholars:
   • Deadline to apply: February 28, 2023 CLOSED
   • Eligibility: Seniors must have a minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.25 at the end of Fall semester, and plan to attend a two-year community college, four-year university, technical, trade, or a vocational school following graduation. Scholarships are based on academic achievement, accomplishments, involvement and/or merit and all applicants are not guaranteed a scholarship.  
2. Assistance League of Temecula Valley Scholarship CLOSED
   • Deadline to apply: February 28, 2023 *Pulls from Dollars for Scholars Application*
   • Our growing annual scholarship program awards financial aid to graduating high school seniors in our local districts. Financial assistance is a necessity for many college-bound students. Operation Scholarships recieve high school scholarship applications from Murrieta Dollars for Scholars.
   • Eligibility: Earned 2.5 cumulative GPA. Must have experienced financial or personal hardship. Classified as living in a family of low/moderate income (must complete Income Limits Certification). Plan to enroll in a local, accredited, community college or trade school. 
3. Professional Women's Roundtable (PWR) Scholarship CLOSED  
   
   • Deadline to apply: March 1, 2023 at 4pm
   • The entire scholarship application packet must be received at 24635 Madison Ave.,Suite C or via email, at or before 4:00 PM on Wednesday March 1, 2023. Any application received after this time, will NOT qualify. You can drop off the application at Which Wich? Superior Sandwiches in Murrieta (walk-in)..
   • Eligibility: Must be a local, female, student on pace to graduate in June 2023. You must also have community involvement and have overcome some sort of adversity. You must have a commitment to success, whether it be college or trade school.
4. Cabrillo Civic Club of California Scholarship
   • Deadline to apply: March 15, 2023 CLOSED  
   • Eligibility: This scholarship is for deserving students of Portuguese descent, with a 3.5 GPA and participation in at least three extracurricular activities. $500 scholarship awards. 
5. SCAG Scholarship
   • Deadline to apply: March 26, 2023 CLOSED  
   • Eligibility: To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be a resident within the SCAG region (i.e.. Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino or Ventura County), enrolled as a high school senior or community college student, have at least a 3.0 Grade Point Average and be eligible to work in the United States. In addition, graduating students must be able to provide proof of enrollment in higher education. Applicants must complete an application form and submit an essay, two letters of recommendation, and a current transcript.
6. Altura Credit Union Foundation Scholarship
   
   • Deadline to apply: March 27, 2023 CLOSED  
   • 6 different scholarship opportunities are available with varying eligibility requirements.

7. Vettes Out West Scholarship Award
   • Deadline to apply: March 27, 2023 by 8pm CLOSED  
   • Eligibility: Min 2.5 GPA. See application for all other requirements.

8. Gosch Ford Temecula Scholarship Program
   • Deadline to apply: March 31, 2023 CLOSED  
   • Eligibility: Entrants must be a high school senior within the Murrieta or Temecula school districts and must continue their education after graduation.
   • There will be Fifty (50) $1,000 scholarships which will be awarded at an awards ceremony at the end of the school year. See website for application guidelines.

9. Folds of Honor Scholarship
   • Deadline to apply: March 31st, 2023 CLOSED  
   • Eligibility: Must be a family member of US military personnel or a military veteran. Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a program of study at an accredited college or university, or an accredited technical or trade school program, which results in a certificate or license. 
   • $5,000 award amount (100 awards given)
10. Murrieta Rotary Scholarship
    
    • Deadline to apply: April 10, 2023 CLOSED  
    • Eligibility: This program is open to Murrieta residents who have graduated from high school in recent years and have now decided to pursue a vocational/technical career that requires more training. 
    • Scholarships ranging from $500-$2000

11. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorportated - Eta Nu Omega Scholarship
    
    • Deadline to apply: April 18, 2023
    • The application can be found in the document list or on their website. Application includes a written form and "Biographical Sketch" essay (approx 150-200 words)

12. Temecula Valley Genealogical Society
    
    • Deadline to apply: May 8th, 2023 by 11:59PM
    • Eligibility: Open to all graduating high school students in the Murrieta/Temecula Valley who have plans to enroll in continuing education before the end of 2023. The winner will receive $500 to apply towards their higher educational goals as well as a complimentary one-year membership in TVGS for them or one of their family members. Students may submit their essays by mail or in PDF format by email (click link for application).

13. Horatio Alger Association Scholarship
    
    • Deadline to apply: June 15th, 2023
    • Eligibility: For students who wish to attain a certificate or Associate of Arts degree of 2 years or less, are Pell Grant Eligible (low income), and attending or plan to attend a not-for-profit school. Funds may be used for tuition, books, uniforms, tools or whatever is necessary for the classes.
