• Attendance

Consistent attendance is essential to your child's educational progress; therefore absences should be kept to a minimum. If your child must be absent or tardy for any reason, please call the Attendance Clerk, Wynne Shaffer, at (951) 696-1405 and press 1, this will take you to the attendance line so that you may leave a detailed message. Please leave the students name, date, reason for absence, your name and a contact phone number.

For your convenience, a voice mail system takes messages when the office is closed.  When your child returns to school, you may also send a written note including your child's name, his/her teacher's name, date of absence, reason for absence and your signature.

Please remember that much of what your child learns at school comes directly from one to one contact with the teacher. That cannot be duplicated on a piece of paper. If you are going to be out of town, please contact the teacher several days in advance.

Tardiness/Absence: Regular attendance is an important indicator of school success. We respect the importance of quality instructional time. Teachers will meet their classes promptly at 8:30 AM. Students should be on time and ready to learn. Promptness to class is extremely important. Students are to be in their seat and ready for instruction when the day begins. Interruptions due to tardiness take away from learning time, and are disruptive to the class. Tardy students are to report to the office as soon as they arrive at school.
