Hello!  My name is Cherie Gruidl, and I have been teaching for thirty fun-filled years.  I received my Bachelor's degree and teaching credential from San Diego State University and my Master's Degree in Literacy from the American College of Education.  In the past, I have taught for Riverside Unified School District (RUSD) and Julian Charter School.  This is my sixth year teaching in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District (MVUSD).  In addition, I am an Induction Coach for MVUSD and the Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE).  One of my other jobs is being a Master Coach of coaches for the Academy of Coaching Excellence.  Lastly, I have been fortunate enough to receive the honor of Teacher of the Year for RUSD (1994) and MVUSD (2021), as well as District Teacher of the Year (2022) for MVUSD.

My husband is also an elementary school teacher.  We have two children, Kyle and Hannah, and two pets; our dog Ginger and Luna, a betta fish.

I love going to Starbucks, Disneyland, watching movies, and reading.
