Mrs. Pyle and Ms. Tuten

Hello Families!

This is just so you can learn a little bit about us and what we love most about being speech therapists, working together and being a part of Cole Canyon!

Mrs. Jennifer Pyle, a native of California, is in her 21st year of being a speech therapist.  She received her Masters Degree from University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA.  She has worked in all different settings, including hospitals and skilled nursing facilities.  Mrs. Pyle has been a part of the Murrieta Valley Unified School District for 17 years and has worked at Cole Canyon for 10 years.  She lives in Canyon Lake with her husband Dr. David Pyle, Superintendent and their four children; Shay, Alyssa, Taylor and Gavin and their boxer pup Roy.  Mrs. Pyle loves traveling in her self renovated RV, cooking, reading, decorating, and spending time with her family, many of whom live close by.  Mrs. Pyle's passion is helping kids be their true selves and loving who they are on the outside and the inside!

Ms. Samantha Tuten, a native of Colorado, is in her 18th year of being a speech therapist.  She received her Master's Degree from University of Hawaii at Manoa in Honolulu, HI.  Ms. Tuten has also worked in a variety of settings and all over the country, including Richmond Children's Hospital, feeding programs, acute care and early intervention programs.  Ms. Tuten has been part of the Murrieta Valley Unified School District for 10 years and has worked at Cole Canyon for 10 years.  She lives in Murrieta with her 13 year old daughter Mollie, their four chickens, and their two pups Charlie and Daisy.  Ms. Tuten loves traveling all over the world, watching her daughter compete in competitive horseback riding, camping and hiking, and visiting her family in Oregon.  Ms. Tuten's passion is working with families and their kids and helping them bloom into wonderful little people.

Mrs. Pyle and Ms. Tuten not only get to work together everyday to create a loving, collaborative, fun environment for their Cole Canyon students.  We also get to share a classroom and are the best of friends, which makes working together all the more special!  Between the two of us, we have knowledge in the areas of Social Skills and Pragmatic Language, Apraxia, Auditory Processing, Language Development, Phonological Disorders, Autism, AAC and much more!

Some of the innovative and collaborative things that Mrs. Pyle and Ms Tuten have added to the Cole Canyon Community:
