Mr. Basin 5th grade

     My name is Steve Basin.  This is my twentieth year here at Antelope Hills Elementary.  This will be my thirty-seventh year teaching.  Prior to this, I taught at both Tovashal and Avaxat Elementary schools here in Murrieta.  For my first ten years of teaching, I had the opportunity to teach in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  I have taught  grades 3, 4, and 5, along with five years of combination classes.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Education, a Master's Degree in Education, and my GATE certificate as well.  In my downtime, I enjoy spending time with my wife, riding both bicycles and dirt bikes, camping, and working on various projects around the house. Our daughter is currently attending college in beautiful San Francisco.
